B. Newsletter subscription

In order to receive the Miller International FZCO informative newsletter, the following data will be compulsorily requested:

4. PROCESSING METHODS

The personal data provided will be processed by Miller International FZCO using both analogue and computerised procedures, in the manner and within the limits necessary to pursue the aforementioned purposes.

 

Users are informed that data provided through the website may be processed using electronic communication tools including, but not limited to, the company’s secure e-mail systems, in order to manage and respond to requests received.

 

Data processing is carried out in compliance with the GDPR principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity, and confidentiality.

 

5. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is:

6. DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Specifically:

  • Data submitted via contact forms will be retained for a period of 60 days from the last interaction, after which it will be permanently deleted;
  • Data processed for newsletter purposes will be retained until the user withdraws consent or unsubscribes.

B. Right of Rectification – Art. 16 GDPR

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning him/her without undue delay and to have incomplete personal data completed.

 

C. Right to Erasure (‘Right to be Forgotten’) – Art. 17 GDPR

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay where: the data are no longer necessary; consent is withdrawn; the data subject objects to the processing; the data have been unlawfully processed; or erasure is required by law.

 

D. Right to Restriction of Processing – Art. 18 GDPR

The data subject shall have the right to obtain restriction of processing where the accuracy of personal data is contested, the processing is unlawful, the controller no longer needs the data but the data subject requires them for legal claims, or the data subject has objected to processing.

 

E. Right to Data Portability – Art. 20 GDPR

F. Right to Object – Art. 21 GDPR

Where the data subject objects to processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data shall no longer be processed for those purposes.
